3-DAY Open Studio
New York, New York, June 28th, 2016
In celebration of Burgundy Assemblage's 2nd birthday, we are delighted to invite all enthusiasts of design and fashion to visit their open studio. The three-day event will kick off with champagne, wine and cheese on Friday, July 8, from 5-8pm, and continue on July 9 and 10, from 1- 4pm. Events will take place at 338 E 67th Suite 29, New York City.
During the open studio, guests are welcome to examine and explore Burgundy Assemblage’s Art of Making process, from mood and inspiration boards, to sketches and raw material, to mock-ups, tools and final products. In addition, Burgundy Assemblage founders will be available each day for Q&As about their creative process, and will lead discussions on broader themes of collaboration, finding identity in goods, and conscious consumerism, among other topics.
“We are so excited about the opportunity to interact with consumers and fellow design and fashion lovers, and introduce our brand to them on a more personal, intimate level,” says Lan Peng, co-founder of Burgundy Assemblage. “We are truly committed to collaboration and so especially look forward to the discussions, and the insights, ideas and, perhaps even new collaborations, that will arise from them.”
The entire Burgundy Assemblage leather bag collection, as well as selection of accessories, will be on display, and guests will have the opportunity to purchase goods on-site at a 15-20% discount. Press members will receive free giveaways of EdWonder products, which were created in collaboration with Burgundy Assemblage. All visitors are invited to create a Burgundy Assemblage handprint scan with an inspirational quote, as seen on the collaboration page of the brand’s website and thank-you cards.
Coffee, tea, and pastries will be served during the afternoon open studio sessions.
